MYAirline, Malaysia’s newest low-cost carrier, makes its official debut

Indeed, this is wonderful news for everyone, especially travellers, as we will have more possibilities for cheaper domestic and international flights. MYAirline, a Malaysian low-cost airline, began operations in Malaysia with the inauguration of three routes from klia2 to Langkawi, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu (They are expanding to cover more places very soon).

The new airline is anticipated to boost Malaysian tourism and fulfil expanding travel demand. Apart from serving domestic routes, MYAirline also intends to include routes to several top asean destinations, including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, by the second quarter of next year.

Their corporate colour may cause confusion because their competitors have been using a similar colour for a long time. However, they opted to adopt red as their corporate colour since it is the most eye-catching colour, and many other successful global organisations use red as their corporate colour.

They also claim to be the first to provide its passengers with lightweight, environmentally friendly seats. These ergonomically designed Italian chairs save around 800kg of weight, which results in fuel savings. Aside from that, one distinct feature that MYArline provides that other airlines do not is its reliance on human communication rather than chatbots.
